Please help the Council conduct its review of the Executive Director and her performance over the year 2018 by sharing your thoughts. These comments will be shared with the rest of council.

This includes areas such as developing strategies for achieving mission, goals, and financial viability, analysis and judgment related to the progress and opportunities, and the need for changes, a working knowledge of significant developments and trends in the field.) Builds respect and profile for the organization with our various stakeholders. Supports the overall idea of self regulation, establishes ambitious goals for excellence and impact and initiates, maintains, and adapts programs with excellence and impact.
This includes areas such as: serves as an effective spokesperson, represents the SALPN well to our stakeholders, including registrants, government, other nursing and non-nursing regulators, and general public, establishes and makes use of working relationships with other organizations and individuals in the regulatory field, sees that communication platforms are developed and utilized well.
This includes areas such as: Establishes and leads an effective team, Recruits and retains a professional and productive staff, ensures compliance with relevant workplace policies and employment laws, leads staff in maintaining a climate of excellence, accountability, fairness, and respect.
This includes areas such as: Sees that program and activities are developed, executed, modified, and dismantled to maximize mission impact, works with the staff to prepare budgets, monitor progress, and initiates changes (to operations and/or to budgets) as appropriate.
This could include suggestions for professional development or individual work plan that the Council might consider recommending to the Executive Director.
