Many SALPN members decide to hold a Non-Practising certificate even after they retire from their LPN practice. Why do so many members do this? It’s because members are frequently re-hired back into LPN positions after retirement and want to “keep their foot in the door.” Whatever the reason, the member must still complete a renewal, meet the minimum practice hour requirement of 1250 hours in the previous five (5) years and pay the $60 Non-Practising certificate fee.
Please complete and submit this form if you are confident that you want to leave the profession or officially retire your SALPN registration and licensure and don’t plan on returning to LPN practice.
Once submitted, the SALPN will review it and connect with you if needed.
Thank you for everything you’ve contributed to the LPN profession and the care you provided to the people of Saskatchewan! Best of luck!
