The Council is currently seeking an LPN to serve as an alternate member of the C&I Committee. An alternate member will be utilized in the event of a conflict of interest within the committee and is an excellent candidate to replace other members as terms expire.

Do you or does your facility provide education events, lunch and learns, webinars, or presentations, etc. that could be enhanced with better learning opportunities or educational tools? The SALPN is responsible to protect the public through the regulation of the LPN Profession. Commitment to life-long education is a regulatory requirement of all practicing LPNs. Therefore, the SALPN provides an opportunity to support or supplement the cost of delivering education in a localized area for the purpose of enhancing knowledge, skill, ability and judgement by way of Education Grants. The SALPN has added new educational opportunities to the Learning Resources section of the website from the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) and from the University of Victoria. Please contact the education providers directly if you require further information or assistance with registering. As always, use the CEP placement tool to determine if the education falls within Formal or Informal Activities.
