The Council is currently seeking an LPN to serve as an alternate member of the C&I Committee. An alternate member will be utilized in the event of a conflict of interest within the committee and is an excellent candidate to replace other members as terms expire.
Meetings are in person or virtually and are generally scheduled well in advance.
Training and orientation will be required.
Serving committee members are paid a Per Diem for each meeting
Travel, meals, and accommodations are provided for committee members from outside of Regina (if required)
Do you or does your facility provide education events, lunch and learns, webinars, or presentations, etc. that could be enhanced with better learning opportunities or educational tools?
The SALPN is responsible to protect the public through the regulation of the LPN Profession. Commitment to life-long education is a regulatory requirement of all practicing LPNs. Therefore, the SALPN provides an opportunity to support or supplement the cost of delivering education in a localized area for the purpose of enhancing knowledge, skill, ability and judgement by way of Education Grants.
